We are currently experiencing water outages in Salem, Newberg, Otis, and West Linn/Lake Oswego due to loss of power.
PGE and Pacific Power have not provide an estimate on when power service will return. Once full service is back we'll be able to provide water again.
If you are a customer in the Lombard water systems.
We're aware that some homes have power. Partial power service has been restored but not enough to run the pumps. Please be patient while power is being restored.
If you are a customer in the College Park/Penticton water systems:
We are currently running the water system using only the Penticton pump house. This is the smaller of the two pumps houses and was not designed to run the full system. While we are running on this single pump please use water sparingly. If you see an issue with low flow/pressure it is due to this. Once the College Park pump house is back online service will return to normal.
If you are a customer in the Boulder Creek system:
We were experiencing issues with our control systems. We have since have corrected this issue but the upper reservoir is empty and will take time to fill back up. Please be patient while our system catches back up.
Customers in the Illahe Water system: PLEASE CONSERVE WATER
Although some customers have power restored there is still issues with the power system as a whole. Until that issue is corrected we are unable to pump water to our reservoirs. If power returns temporarily the pumps will start pushing water back up to the reservoirs.
Any customer on the high pressure water line which includes El Dorado, some of Cherokee, some of Deer, and some of Torry Pines. Due to the low reservoir we are unable to keep the booster pumps running that provide higher pressure water. Due to this you may have some water but at very low pressure. Once regular power service has been provided and we can start filling the reservoirs we can enable the booster system to provide regular water pressure.
