Broken water line in North Salem

The line was isolated and repaired with minimal outages.  Thanks to those who called it in.

We have a broken line in North Salem.  We will be shutting down water service to Campus Court and some services along Amherst Dr.  This blog will be updated when there is more information to share.

Shady Cove repair scheduled for Monday

Update
The service was repaired with minimal outages.  Thank you to all who were prepared.

Service Repair 12-7-15
Customers on Cheveny Dr in Shady Cove, Oregon should prepare for service interruption on Monday, December 7, 2015.  We hope to only have the water off for a few hours, but ask that customers prepare for all day water outage.  Work will be from 9 am to 5 pm.  A permanent repair is scheduled to take place December 14, 2015.

Leak Fix in North Shady Cove

We just got word that the crew has finished fixing the leak. Thank you for your patience today!


There will be a shut down in North Shady Cove for fixing a leak.  We do not anticipate this being a long shut down.  Updates will be posted here.

Hiland Water is expanding its email billing program! We have been sending limited email bills for a few months and have decided it is time to open the program to more who would like to join.  If you are interested in joining the e-billing program, send an email to e-billing@hilandwater.com including your account number and name.  If you would like another email used, please specify.  We are committed to serving our customers.

Line Break in Shady Cove

10-21-15 Update
The water line is now repaired.  One of the joints failed in the construction but is now back in service.

10-19-15 Update
A temporary fix was applied late last week and a crew is scheduled to be in the area Tuesday, 10-20-15 to apply a permanent repair.  There may be water outages when work is being done.

North Salem off of Lancaster Dr water issues

Update: We have recieved results from the lab that the water is safe to drink. We are lifting the boil water notice. We will continue to update this blog when more information is avaliable.

Update: The electronics in the pump house have been replaced and the backup well is functioning at capacity.  A plan is being formulated for repairing the main well.  We will continue to update this post as we have new information.

Update: There are several components of the water system that have failed over the weekend. Although we have a working pump and well now, there are some issues with some valves and electronics in the pump house.  We have an electrician on the way. We are still on a boil water notice.

Update:  We appear to be having issues keeping up with demand this morning.  We have a service man on the way to check the pumps and reservoir level.

Update:  After almost 60 years in service, the pump used to supply water to the Lombard water system failed.  The secondary well was temporarily put into service.  Farther evaluation and planning will be done to see if the main well can be repaired.  A boil water notice was distributed to the entire water system.  We will update this blog when we have received confirmation from the lab that your water is safe to drink.  We do not anticipate any issues with water quality.

Update : The water system is back up to pressure. We will continue to monitor the system to ensure operations return to normal. Thanks again for your patience.

Update: The crew on the ground is optimistic they will have the system back up shortly.  They are waiting on a joint to set up.  It will still take some time for the entire system to return to normal pressure.
