Riverbend Groundwater under the influence of surface water

In January 2021, Hiland Water issued a boil water notice to the community served by Riverbend Water due to the Oregon Drinking Water program's determination that the Riverbend source of water is under the influence of surface water. More stringent treatment requirements now apply to this water system and Hiland Water is working to fulfill those treatment requirements as quickly as possible. Multiple temporary avenues are also being explored in order to remove the boil water notice soon. This blog will be updated as timelines are developed. Thank you for your patience during this time.
