Boulder Creek - Removal of boil water notice

Lab results were received today indicating that there is no presence of coliform in the drinking water at Boulder Creek Water System. All previous boil water advisories have been removed and the water is safe to drink.

There will be additional repairs in the future to replace the temporary pipe on the Slick Rock Creek bridge. You will be notified of the work taking place in advance once it is planned. We are working with ODOT and Lincoln County roads to understand the timeline and prepare accordingly.

Boulder Creek - bridge auto accident

Due to an auto accident on the Slick Rock Creek Rd. bridge near Boulder Creek Dr. Our emergency repair crew was dispatched on the evening of Friday, September 2, 2022 to repair a main waterline break. The damage to the bridge and our water line is substantial and although water service has been restored, an emergency outage is planned for Tuesday, September 6, 2022 to perform further repairs.

Homes served on Slick Rock Creek Road, New Bridge Road, and New Bridge Court should anticipate water outages on September 6 between 10 AM and 5 PM. If you reside in this area, please continue to follow boil water protocol as a precaution. After repairs are complete, water samples will be taken to a lab to confirm that the water is safe to drink again. Once results are received, we will share them with you.

Water service to all other homes in the Boulder Creek Water System is not expected to be affected and boil water protocols are not in place at this time.

Hiland will be working with Lincoln County to understand what permanent bridge repairs will be taking place in the future and how water service will be affected. We will keep you informed as we learn more.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
