Info: We have received several calls today about the meaning of a boil water notice.  Here is a link to the Oregon Public Health site with some common questions. https://public.health.oregon.gov/HealthyEnvironments/DrinkingWater/Operations/Documents/publicnotices/BoilWaterFAQ.pdf

Update: There are several components of the water system that have failed over the weekend. Although we have a working pump and well now, there are some issues with some valves and electronics in the pump house.  We have an electrician on the way. We are still on a boil water notice.

Update:  We appear to be having issues keeping up with demand this morning.  We have a service man on the way to check the pumps and reservoir level.

Update:  After almost 60 years in service, the pump used to supply water to the Lombard water system failed.  The secondary well was temporarily put into service.  Farther evaluation and planning will be done to see if the main well can be repaired.  A boil water notice was distributed to the entire water system.  We will update this blog when we have received confirmation from the lab that your water is safe to drink.  We do not anticipate any issues with water quality.

Update: The crew on the ground is optimistic they will have the system back up shortly.  They are waiting on a joint to set up.  It will still take some time for the entire system to return to normal pressure.
